57 names in Congress's list, Adhir rom Berhampore

UP Congress suggests that the Gandhi family should contest from Amethi and Rae Bareli. Congress released a new list that includes names for different constituencies like Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and Puducherry. And this time, Kharge's son-in-law will contest from Behrampore in West Bengal. Surprisingly, Ajay Rai's candidacy has been decided from Varanasi seat.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
