Wrestler Priya becomes 2nd Indian U20 World Champion

Priya became the second Indian woman to win the U20 World Championships, and Antim Panghal secured India's unprecedented success at the Junior World Championships. Unaffected by a gash above her left eye, Priya defeated Laura Celive Kuehn 5-0 in the gold medal match, despite having to stop twice due to bleeding.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
