Stalker shoots at 19-yr-old on way to work in Manesar

A 19-year-old woman working with an electronics manufacturing company in Manesar was shot at by an alleged stalker, who studied with her in Class 10 and had been following her from the time she lived in Ghaziabad eight months ago. The woman is getting treated for a gunshot wound at a Gurgaon hospital. Doctors said her condition was stable.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
