FIR lodged against Bellamkonda Suresh and his son Sai Sreenivas in Rs 85 lakh cheating case

Hyderabad police have booked a case of cheating against Telugu film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and his son and actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas for allegedly cheating a financier to the tune of Rs 85 lakh. A case was booked on Friday against the duo by the Central Crime Station (CCS) police on the direction of a city court.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
