Rajnath: Our responsibility to fulfil vision of Gen Rawat

It is the responsibility of the country's defence establishment to steadfastly work towards achieving chief of defence staff General Bipin Rawat's vision of military modernisation and complete self-reliance in arms production, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Monday.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
