The left-handed allrounder played out 91 deliveries for his unbeaten 18, while last man Ajaz Patel faced 23 balls to score 2 not out - the duo negotiated 52 deliveries in all - before bad light ended play 12-13 minutes ahead of scheduled close.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
