Live: NTA all set to conduct NEET-UG 2021 today

NEET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in pen and paper mode in 13 languages. Through this entrance test, candidates can get admission to undergraduate medical courses including MBBS, BDS in approved/recognized medical/dental and other colleges in India. Examination will begin at 2 pm and continue till 5 pm. Candidates need to reach the centre ahead of the reporting time. The ministry of education has asked the chief secretary of the states to extend support for the examination. Around 16.14 lakh candidates will appear for this examination in 3,858 centres in India and abroad. Stay with TOI for latest updates:

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
