Some temples in K'taka give marijuana as prasada

As police crack down in many parts of the state arresting drug-peddlers and destroying marijuana cultivation in the wake of the Sandalwood drug racket, many are not aware marijuana is sacred in some temples of North Karnataka.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
