Man brings late wife's statue for house warming

Srinivas Gupta (57), a Bhagyanagar-based businessman gave a pleasant surprise to those who attended his house warming ceremony on August 8, many were not believing his wife, who passed away in a road accident in 2017, was actually sitting in the house on a sofa in a pink saree wearing golden ornaments.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
