Unwelcome sex isn't consensual but rape: HC

Narrowing the distinction between consensual sex and rape further, the Kerala high court has held that only sexual intercourse welcomed by the woman can be accepted as consensual.

SC slams trial courts for seeking needless custody

The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed shock over some trial courts not complying with its July 2022 order to be liberal and grant bail to accused in cases when custody is not needed.
